Emily Gunn said… - I am not planning on joining but my brother applied a couple years ago and was accepted to teach somewhere in the South Pacific, might have been Fiji. There ended up being a problem with his medical clearance and he did not go. He is now going to nursing school and after graduating plans to spend time in Africa, as he loves Africa and has traveled there several times. Great for you though! I hope it works out. It's also great to see that you have been to Haiti. My brother and dad have been a few times on medical mission trips and someday I hope to join them.
