Tutor/Mentor Connection

Connect knowledge, volunteers, youth and make a difference.

It was great time with Cabrini Connections. It's my first work in United States. I was excited, and nervous. With your helps and concerns, I could start very well. At the very first days, I tried to see and understand what you do/done, how you do, and why you do. I read many articles on the web pages, and finally I felt glad that I help you and people to make better society. Besides projects I done during the internship, I've learned a lots from Cabrini Connections and especially, a WILL to help people. I'll find a way to help people and contribute a society. Every experience means a lot to me.

About my projects, I did some design works. First, I created brand new designed monthly newsletter. You can check this at Current Newsletter. Also I made new Strategy Map, and you can see that on the top-menu at Tutor/Mentor Exchange.

This is the last day of my internship. I'm going to miss everyone. It was very lucky for me to work with you guys. I will keep your vision and try to get more and more people involved with this great programs. Thank you everyone!

Thank you Alan for spending time with us and sharing your talent. The email newsletter format that you created was mailed to more than 4000 people and will be used over and over in 2009 to expand the reach of the Tutor/Mentor Connection in Chicago and in other cities and countries.

The strategy map was a huge project for you, but the result is a new way for people to look at the strategy and the information that we host on the T/MC web sites to support their involvement. Because of your work we may have one or many new partners in the coming year who help us make a difference in the lives of kids in Chicago and the world.

I'll look forward to hearing from you in the coming months.
