Great! The reason I want you to follow the discussion on http://www.socialedge.org/discussions/business-models/maps-and-whats-possible is that we're discussing ideas that originate in Chicago that can be used, and supported, by anyone in the world. In fact the interactive program locator was built in India, with the project manager being located in Baltimore.
If you can convey this idea to people in other places, and other countries, they can see that their involvement and investment in our work, enables us to share what we're doing for their use in their own country. It really is a global community, and we're modeling global collaboration at the citizen level.
I like the way you use graphics in your blog. One of the projects you'll work on in the next few weeks is the Aug. 29 Tutor/Mentor Jam event, which we're offering for the first time. Since you're in a band, this is something you'll probably enjoy being part of.
Connect knowledge, volunteers, youth and make a difference.

There are a few sub groups I'd like you and Willow to join where I can be talking to you both at the same time. One is the fund raising group at http://tutormentorconnection.ning.com/group/networkwithtutormentorconnection
In this group we can brainstorm ideas to make the Tutor/Mentor Jam a great success.
Let's do our best during internship.
