The connection between the teens...or mentees and volunteers (parents...Mentors) should ensure its end in practice, for the circle of relationship to be complete. Every Inspiration or teaching is tested in doing it, trying it, testing it. We have relationships forming all around us between our teens and volunteers, and between teens, volunteers, parents and staff. Through events like Cabrini Madness, Ning groups, Facebook, and other places where we meet people, we're building even more relationships. We need to nurture all of these and we need to coach them, so that people learn to ask other people to help us, based what their ability to help is, and their motivations at the time they are being asked. This was reinforced to me in a fund raising meeting I attended today.
