- I have always been interested in education. When I was a child, I would teach spelling to my stuffed animals. Who knew I would grow up wanting to educate? I didn't. I thought I wanted to be a nurse. The idea of being a private tutor and having one-on-one time with a child is wonderful to me. I think that is the best way to educate someone who is struggling. But I haven't yet tutored and I'm a little nervous. I hope this site will point me in the right direction.
- What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?
- I would like to learn how to help children excel. I want to learn how to recognize a child's weaknesses and help him strengthen them. I want to learn how to assess and help him improve.
