Tutor/Mentor Connection

Connect knowledge, volunteers, youth and make a difference.

This map of Chicago shows where poverty is most concentrated. It also shows the expressways that lead from the suburbs to the downdown work area. These go through poverty neighborhoods where volunteers, leaders and donors are needed. Anyone traveling these routes can search the Program Locator at http://www.tutormentorconnection.org to shop for places to get involved.

The Tutor/Mentor Connection will add new maps each week to http://mappingforjustice.blogspot.com and to map galleries like this. We hope you'll encourage people in your network to view these and use them to determine where and how you and your company, church, hospital, alumni or social group become part of the community of adults helping young people in different neighborhoods succeed in school, stay safe during non-school hours and be starting jobs/careers by their mid twenties.
