Not to worry Tony, I have read your profile. Which country is your non-profit based?

Thanks for joining the Tutor/Mentor Connection on Ning. Browse the site and visit the groups section. One focuses on Africa.  My hope is to help these and other groups band together in a collective effort that helps all of them get more of the resources they need on a more consistent basis. Groups like yours that connect foreign donors and volunteers with programs in Africa, Asia, Central America, etc. are a potentially great asset.

    About Me:

the President of a non-profit orgsnization call African Youth and Senior Relief International,as a techer i have worked with kids for over sixteen years hence my desire to establish this non-profit organization to help seniors and the youth in africa in various ways, "AYSRI" is a non-governmental, non-religious entity and work with local NGOs and community based organizations to implement most of our programs. We work in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governmental institutions with well-developed skills in mentor programs, and overall education for the youth. We place specific emphasis on the female child's education where inequality among male-female education is very prominent in African countries. We encourage parents to allow female children to continue their education and AYSRI provides assistance with funding and materials in order for both the male/female children to complete their education.
