You're now looking at the new, upgraded, Tutor/Mentor Connection on Ning. It looks like all the photos, albums and groups have transferred from Ning2.0. However, it seems that some profile photos may not have transferred. If you're still using the site, please update your photo.

When I launched this platform in 2007 the Tutor/Mentor Connection was still part of the Cabrini Connections NonProfit. In 2011 the board decided to drop support for the T/MC so I created Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC to keep it live in Chicago and to help similar intermediaries grow in other cities.

As with many things I've done, this has created confusion since the Institute is doing exactly the same work as the T/MC, but with different funding and tax status. I use both names interchangeably.

I've used this site as an archive for the past five or six years, showcasing the work interns did between 2008 and 2015 and sharing photos from past conferences, the my maps and visualizations, etc.

There's also a group focused on building a Tutor/Mentor Connection in Africa, which I point people to when they contact me on LinkedIn and other social media.

In the coming years I hope to use the discussion forum to connect people I know to each other and to brainstorm ways to transfer ownership and my archives to new leaders.

On the right side of the home page I point to blogs I host. If you are writing a blog that focuses on Tutor/Mentor Connection goals and strategies, I'd be happy to add it.
