      Hi Sonia,

      Thanks for joining the group. Below is a map showing hospitals in Chicago. You can also see a version of this on the interactive maps in the Tutor/Mentor Program Locator. Imagine what might result if the CEO and board members of each hospital were encouraging hospital staff, employees of drug companies and medical equipment companies to be volunteers in tutor/mentor programs operating in the neighborhood around each hospital. In such programs these people can help youth build aspirations for nursing and other careers within the health care industry. They can also be mentored to make healthy choices that result in a lower emergency room cost for each hospital.

      Our goal is for hospitals to take this role, and I hope that by connecting with you in this forum we might make more progress toward reaching that goal.
