I am the Program Director for the after school program at Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum located on the Compton Airport and serving primarily at-risk youth in South Los Angeles, CA.
What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?
I hope to learn how to help our fifth grader catch up to reading level (currently below Kindergarten level) before the end of the school year.

Hi Myra. Thanks for joining this forum. I hope you'll draw ideas from the work I'm doing with Interns and the information on the main Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC web site. There's a sub group focused on LA that was started a few years ago, but no one has tried to keep it active. I hope you'll use it and bring others from LA into the forum.
