About Me:
Currently, I am a special education teacher at Beloit Memorial High School in Beloit, Wisconsin. I am also finishing up classes at Edgewood College in order to complete my special education license. This past summer I was a part of Tom Holub's Cabrini Connections class that traveled to Chicago. I found the experience to be very rewarding and I wanted to do more. Right now I am attempting to create a network of Edgewood students and alumni that can help contribute to the Cabrini Connections project.

Thank you again for volunteering to use your independent study to help connect Edgewood College and Cabrini Connections, Tutor/Mentor Connection. Will you be writing a paper or some form of report following your independent study to summarize your actions and results?
If so, that would be a great document to share with others in Edgewood and at other universities to show how student academic work can also be service and leadership in support of meaningful causes.
In this case I hope the result of your efforts is that some of the kids you connect with each summer at Cabrini Connections become your students in the future.
