About Me:
Case Manager for local non-profit, Gunnison Mentors. Rural youth mentoring service with limited resources and extending a heck of a recruitment strategy.
Also run MiddleSchoolCounselor.com to teach about bullying, support mentoring benefits, and teach with graphic novels.
What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?
Hope to learn about financial resources, develop national network for problem solving and assist in areas as I can with recruitment strategy, online use and more.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for joining this forum. As you browse around you'll see articles by myself and by volunteers and interns working with my organization, the Tutor/Mentor Connection. These are intended to help educate people in business, universities, philanthropy and media so they do more consistent things to help leaders of volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs have the resources each program needs to constantly improve.
The ideas are also intended to be used by leaders of programs to stimulate their own constant improvement.
Since you're in Colorado you might share these ideas with the area Universities and enlist students, faculty and alumni to create similar presentations, but focused on you and other youth mentoring programs in Colorado.
A forum like this is only as useful as members make it. I hope you'll make it a valuable resource for yourself.
