  Kim, it's nice to see you on here! I hope that as you continue to volunteer as a mentor with Cabrini Connections, you begin to think about the big picture in Chicago and the rest of the United States - tutor/mentor programs are a vital part of the education system and it is important that they are supported by volunteers and dollars. You've been a great contributor so far (coming up with fundraiser ideas, posting our stories to Facebook), so keep up the good work!

  HI Kim. Welcome to this forum. As you browse the site you'll see how volunteers and interns are helping create new ways for people to understand the value of programs like Cabrini Connections. We hope that leads more companies, foundations and governments to become more strategic in how they provide resources to us and every other group doing this type of work. Please join in as much as you can and help us grow the group and share the information.
