About Me:
I have worked as a peer writing tutor in two writing/tutoring centers (i.e., at both my undergraduate and graduate alma maters) and also as a freelance tutor.
What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?
I hope to learn more about how I and my writing center can collaborate with and learn from others.

Good Day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( pollardjames96@gmail.com ) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.
Hi Carolyn. Thanks for joining this forum. In some of the blog articles and sub groups you'll see examples of how maps can be used to show locations of existing non-school tutoring, mentoring and learning programs and where more are needed. People who lead specific learning activities, like your writing centers, could use the maps to identify and reach out to existing programs, to offer your support or services to youth in that program. Working with leaders of other writing programs your goal would be that every non-school program in the city would include a writing component, led by skilled tutors/facilitators. One of the writing activities, could be for youth to write about the need for tutor/mentor programs in different neighborhoods; the need for extra learning within those programs, such as writing activities, and the need for donors to provide the money, or talent, to make this happen.
