About Me:

I grew up in California, got a BA in English from Trinity College in Hartford, and currently live in Chicago, where I've devoted my time to nonprofit work. Working with urban youth through nonprofits in Hartford and Chicago have been among the most meaningful experiences of my life. In my spare time, I'm addicted to reading, hot chocolate and any type of top chef cooking competition.

What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?

I'm interested in Cabrini Connections, specifically, but also community literacy more generally. I'm interested in gaining a greater understanding of the big picture to better enable me to help nonprofits with both programs and grantwriting. I'm interested in sharing my own experiences leading and participating in programs, and contributing any knowledge I've gained from my courses towards a certificate in family literacy.
