i.c. Stars

i.c. Stars "http://drupal.icstars.org/" has a great main page. But it doesn't seem that has a meaning of a tutoring and mentoring. the volunteer involvement opportunity is clear and can the volunteers and the donors contact the program easily. It need some more links, but the search box makes it to find it clear. The site has great informations of other related websites.

  • i.c. Stars is a non-profit organization in Chicago for adults with a high school diploma or GED. Using project-based learning and full immersion teaching, i.c. stars provides an opportunity for change-driven, future leaders to develop skills in business and technology.

It's not a volunteer-based tutor/mentor program in the traditional sense, although volunteers are involved in their work and in mentoring their youth. I will move this from the Tutor/Mentor Program links into an alternative education program links section on the main web.
