Thanks for joining this group. As you browse you'll see it's been used as a workspace between me and interns but it's not yet a community where many are taking active roles to help tutor/mentor programs grow in Chicago or other cities. While we have groups on Facebook, Twitter and Linked in, this site offers more ways for people to create their own identity and more ways for groups to form and focus on activities within the scope of the Tutor/Mentor Connection's vision. It's still a long way from where I hope it will be within 10 years. One measure of success and sustainability would be that there would be a growing number of people in this site doing exactly what I do, and for the same purpose, within the next 3-5 years.
Connect knowledge, volunteers, youth and make a difference.
