Is this a group any of you in Africa are connected to?   The organization is PLAN. Here's their education page.

I'm updating the links library on the Tutor/Mentor Connection site and this is one site that may be of interest to education and mentoring groups in Africa. http://idd.edc.org/

There are already two groups from Africa on this map. I encourage each of you to join in and add your own education initiative. http://www.coolmeia.org/educa/cmtls/1/2

I encourage friends from Africa to view and use this Social Enterprise Map that is highlighting International, European, UK and African organisations that are assisting social enterprises. I found it inthis discussion on Linked in

This Map Kibera project shows how a neighborhood in Narobi, Kenya is being mapped.  This blog article compares that project to the Tutor/Mentor Connection's mapping project in Chicago.

Now we are working on transposing our Robin Hood Brasil to Africa... you know our country have much in commom with Africa... but we on the begining, we need help from people that already have projects or contacts in Africa. We have partners in Ghana, Uganda and Kenya but we need sponsors.

We use games - board games and RPG - to develop problem-solving skills and strategic/planning/social skills - in the Butterfly project.  We do work in an area which is environmentally challenging, so we may be able to spread the message with/for you.  Here's a picture of a group we ran in December for 12-14s - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=7540340&l=3707f46e81&...
