I encourage you to read through the OHATS discussions and in the next version of the video show how the goals and actions documented are intended to relate to the goals and mission of the utor/Mentor Connection. For someone in another city it would mean that they are trying to set up a collective effort to help youth in their own region get support from structured volunteer-based organizations, using the shared information that we're all collecting and organizing on our network of web sites and blogs.

Thanks Dan, this is very useful feedback. I would be happy to do more videos and document software using too, so that others can use as well. Thank you re the results section, I could definitely amend that based on what you have said and relate back to any conversations and meetings we have had in Surrey.

Nicola. This is really helpful. It not only shows other people how to use OHATS but demonstrates how volunteers and partners can come from different parts of the world to help us and each other. Here's an article on Collective Action that I think you'll find useful. It shows the challenges we face and the opportunities.

If you can do more reviews like this of tutor/mentor connection ideas shown at http://www.tutormentorexchange.net these can become the basis of webnars we might co-host in coming months as a strategy to expand understanding and use of these ideas.

The only thing I'd offer about your analysis is that in the third part of saying what happened, the results area, I try to predict what might happen to our organization in the future as a result of the action being taken. That way the person doing the documenting is relating action to mission and to long-term goals.

You also might show the metrics charts on the home page and show people how to log in and see all actions that have been documented since 2000. That could be a second video on the OHATS.

Thank you for doing this. Dan
