Thanks Evan. The great thing about the Internet and these forums is that you can now stay connected with friends, and a cause, no matter where you live. That means people will stay involved longer, and grow their knowledge, commitment and impact on the cause. Please take an active role in these forums to help build interaction and participation, and ultimately, a better range of tutor/mentor programs serving at-risk youth.
Thanks Evan. These forums can be powerful tools for building relationships and mentoring each other, and our volunteers and donors. However, we need to figure out ways to use them effectively, and ways to get more people to make these part of their mentoring efforts. I hope you'll help me expand the network so that we bring in more and more talent who can help.
Take a look at the Korea Group and see some of the projects they are working on. Students in mentoring programs, and at the University of Wisconsin, could be doing similar work for a similar purpose.
Hi Evan. Thanks for joining. I encourage you to use this forum as actively as you can to provide training for programs in the Kenosha-Racine area, and for anyone else who we can bring to this forum.
Connect knowledge, volunteers, youth and make a difference.
