This article on my blog talks about the impact of violence on youth living in inner city neighborhoods. It's one of several similar articles you can view at this link. Can you tie the "broken window" theory to what happens when people don't invest in building and sustaining non-school tutoring, mentoring and learning programs in high poverty neighborhoods?
