Thanks for joining us on ning.com. As you can see, this format enables anyone to take a lead in starting a conversation and presenting information. Thus, I encourage you to launch a discussion, using some of your teaching and technology experience.

It's because of this lack of funds to pay for people to come here, or to enable me to travel to conferences in other states, that I'm so committed to find a way to do our networking, conferencing, and collaboration via the internet, using forums like this.

I hope you'll see the value and want to help make this a resource for people in India, as well as the US.

My hope is that you and others will help us bring life to this forum, and attract more people from around the world, who will work together to make more and better youth learning and mentoring programs available to youth living in high poverty areas of big cities throughout the world.

As I told you in an email that I received when you first contacted me, my organization is a small, grassroots non profit, and we don't have funds to cover out of state boarding, lodging and/or travel arrangements. All of the speakers who participate in our May and November conference, donate their time and cover their own expenses. That way we keep the costs low and can give scholarships to people who cannot afford even our low fees.
