- I am mother of four, my son is home with me getting ready to graduate. I am disale due to Lupis. Ive been disable since 1995, I had to stop working as home heallth caretaker. I always had a compassionate personallity, willing to help others even when im having my flareups.I live in Georgia near my uncle, since my mother his sister died he has chronic asthma, so we take care of each other. We're both in church ii volunteer in church nursery and other ministries when well. I took christian counseling classes thru my church and i figured out why i wasnt ever satisfied doing anything is because this is what my calling is at this time and poiong in my life. I really enjoy. Other than activities with family and church i usually always at home. I realized one day there aren't many support systems for teenagers and young adults, for those children lost in the courts and foster or even juvenile.really think i can be a positive factor even though studies are limited due to fact i never had strong work exp. because i've couldn't wrk. because of epilepsy and lupis.My uncle and i plan to start our oranization one day
- What do you hope to learn, or share, on this forum?
- I want to learnfirst hand how to help to developand sharpen my skill. I will teach others how to believe in them sself and to approach situations positively even if its a up hill battle. I can relate to others experiencing life struggles just as i did, give love and understanding be a friend not a judge.Odds were against me because of illnesses but i did it so can they.
