"Lorena, what are some of the challenges you and others face in making youth programs available to more youth in the area? Are you networking and collaborating with other groups in the area? Can you tell us more about what you're doing?"

Lorena,

I'm new to this connection. I noticed you are an educator and community building coordinator in San Diego. I love that city! Check out my website and if there is anything I can do to help you, please advise.

Hi Lorena,

Thanks for joining. I hope you'll review the information in the Tutor/Mentor Institute, and review our use of maps, to see how we're trying to build business and community support for all tutor/mentor programs in Chicago, while bringing these programs together to learn from each other, and from groups in other cities.

These ideas can be applied in other cities, and leaders in other cities can help build participation by business, education and political leaders who might not yet be paying attention to us in Chicago.

I hope you'll make good use of this forum.
