- I have been in the youth mentoring field about 15 years as a consultant. Over that time I have worked with several hundred programs. In addition, I do quite a bit of writing. I am currently writing my fifth mentoring publication for Public/Private Ventures. My past career was as a defensive tackle in the NFL, for the Cleveland Browns. Years ago I developed group mentoring programs in the school system, using sports as the hook.

Thanks for joining this group. I hope you'll contribute ideas and draw others into forums like this. It's only when more of us are connected for common purpose and mutual self interest that we can do things that help all of us get the resources we each need to be more effective in helping kids.
