Greetings,

Joining Tutor Mentor Connection to take action oriented steps to better the conditions within community living spaces.

Met with Dan Bassill and Fred Carter earlier today to discuss how best to connect formal and informal systems to leverage resources for residents living in various communities within the Chicago area. We elected to continue our conversation on the Ning site for others to connect and add to the discussion.

We are supporting each other with our mutual interest and shared vision to connect with the vitural community. We expect a cross section of people to be included in our conversation to build-up a greater sense of community. This first step is to include others in shaping the design of this process.

We can help volunteers and donors connect with tutor/mentor programs in all poverty areas on this map, if we can get enough leaders and citizens involved in the actions that make this happen.

We can also provide a model that would be used by other social benefit sectors, to build a similar distribution of resources into their own neighborhoods of need.
