This map shows locations of poorly performing elementary schools and high school in Chicago. We use this to illustrate where volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs are needed. Search the Program Locator database at http://www.tutormentorconnection.org to determine what, if any, tutor/mentor programs operate in these areas.

The maps are intended to be planning tools for leaders in business, universities, churches, hospitals, in the city and suburbs, to develop strategies that build long-term engagment with different neighborhoods, based on where the church, business and/or hospital is located.
