We have two new interns from IIT and Korea working with the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC this Jan/Feb. They are Song Mi Lee (Stella) and Sung Hee Jung (Jade). This PDF is an introduction Jade created.

Hi Jiwon. Thanks for checking in. Tell us a bit about what you've been doing since you interned with us. Are you finished with school?

We have two new interns from Korea starting with us today. Cho In Hee created a graphic to introduce herself.  Jongseop Won created a network map. You both show great creativity and visual thinking. I look forward to see what ways you interpret ideas of the T/MC.

You're welcome :) Conference was so impressive to me.
Because conference style is little different with Korea.

Thank you to Jiwon and Minsang for taking so many great photos at the Tutor/Mentor Conference. I've placed a few of these in an album at

Do either of you have a blog that you write in Korean, with readers from your family or friends in Korea? If you do, I encourage you to post stories to those blogs, so people in Korea see this information. Maybe we can get the CEO of Hyundai to become a sponsor!!

I read the article. and i agree that. i already knew that poverty makes poverty.
but we can change them with education.
the poverty makes more poverty but an education make chage their life.
so, it is very important to educate any student.

If you share information about what the Tutor/Mentor Connection is doing in Chicago with people you know in Korea, maybe some of them will use these ideas to build support systems to help more volunteer-based programs grow in Korea. Maybe when you return, you and Chuck and others who have interned with us, can work together to share these ideas.
