This 2019 Forbes article is titled "the Philanthropy of African Billionaires" and identifies some of the richest people in Africa, and their philanthropic giving histories.
I share this with the goal that the people from Africa who have shown an interest in duplicating the Tutor/Mentor Connection that I created in Chicago in 1993, work as a group to attract the attention and support from one, or more, of these leaders.
If you've not been reading the http://tutormentor.blogspot.com to stay updated on what the T/MC is (now operated via the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC), I urge you to do so.
You can borrow the ideas and strategies by just changing the maps from Chicago to cities and countries in Africa, and showing that a research library needs to be created for focus on issues that challenge people in Africa to maximize their potential.
I stand ready to serve as a consultant to this effort.
